Holy fuck. Utah sucks. It's not a big fucking deal. Even when Utah is good they still suck (see this year).
Williams sucks. He nearly had the starting job locked up twice. But he shit the bed in the spring finale and the final major scrimmage in the fall. Fuck him.
He also sucked. Vs asu. -
They live and die by the JC market at Utah thanks to all of the guys leaving for Missions, so Booker is apparently the exception that proves Whittingham is a JC expert. Got it.Doogles said:
I never said anything about rankings. Booker was an example of Wittingham being able to identify JC talent and have them contribute. If you're into rankings, doogman is more your speed.
Right now they have 23 players on their roster that came from JC and 9 transfers from other FBS programs.

Coaches fuck up quite a bit.
I watched part of a Florida Gaytor game from the 80s on YouTube because no life + misanthropy and the starting QB entered camp as a freshman walk-on as 8th string. He ended up being all-SEC! and AA as well. It's not like it's an exact science. There are guys with tons of talent and arm strength like Jeff George who are total cancers and losers.
Point being, Williams might be a really good QB, but if he couldn't separate himself from guys like noodle armed pothead Miley and Lindquist, there was probably something missing, at least at that time. -

My guess is all three QB's sucked. -
