Refresh - Did Petersen give Tui an opportunity to stay?

Frankly, I'm ambivalent. If he ends up back here, fine. If not, fine.

Yes, he was offered the TE coach job at both UW and USC. At USC he also had some made up title like "assistant head coach". He chose to go be TE coach for Sark in the end
and in his defense, he got more money too
    And a boat

Tui is only 36 years old. That's fairly young for a football coach. This is only his 4th season as a real assistant coach. He has connections in both the college game and the NFL. There are plenty of coaches who have worked for fucktarded head coaches. I doubt football coaches will hold it against him like many here do.

I don't hold it against him, but he will need to go somewhere else to build his way up. Peterson keeps a lot of his guys and i don't see him going back to the TUI well. It's not career ending, but i'm not exactly interested in him coming back next year. Maybe in a few years.

Jimmy Graham has a float plane. He's a fag too and sucks at football
Why are you trying to change the subject?

Anyway, obligatory... Say it to his face.

Hiring Tui at Washington is like hiring Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian at USC, enough said.

As I've been saying for awhile.... Tui is VERY similar to Sark and Nansen, very.

Tui is a low-level assistant at a major program. If he wants more, he should do it at a lower level program and actually learn how to coach and become a valuable coach.

I've never read or heard anything from any source to suggest that Tui is worth having around as a coach other than the fact that everyone around Montlake likes him, and that's not enough.

Next you'll be telling me Warshington should hire Steve Empterman. SHIT. DOES. NOT. WORK.

Great players and Great coaches are, almost always, different people.

Tui is a good recruiter, everyone says so.
