What has Petersen done since 2012? The wheels were falling off at Boise State in 2013, and so he jumped ship to UW in 2014.
His coaching staffs at Boise State were being plundered by schools with more money (Texas, Florida, ND), which shouldn't be as big a problem here but how the fuck did we end up with Montana's OC as our OC?
Hell, even Utah, which is known to have coordinator salary problems, has a better OC.
Is Petersen just unfamiliar with how to fire a coordinator, because all of his other ones were hired away?
