The first GIF of Washington run was AWFULLLLLLL.... They had a run blitz, we couldn't block all their guys (so one ran pretty free) but there was a MASSIVE hole if he just sees it and makes a little cut to his left. For some reason he just runs straight ahead though. UGH

On that 4th down where DW runs into the pile, he easily could have bounced it outside and had one guy to beat for a potential TD. Gaskin bounces that to the outside for sure.

Two things on this play:

1) #81 moving onto 3 different blocks without really getting a piece of anybody ... allows the S to get outside leverage on him

2) Washington never looks to bounce the run outside ... if he did, he has a TD if he a) breaks a tackle or b) #81 gets that last block

Great kickout block by Perkins here ... Gaskin is going to have to fight the urge to want to try to kick everything out to the sideline though.

Agree. On the bright side, there was a play with nothing there where it took three guys to bring Gaskin down. It was only a one or two yard gain, but he showed some power. At 5'9" 195, Gaskin has good size for a RB.
