Nice Derek. I thought it was a good article. The Seahawks should be good for a long time. Egos getting in the way can change that and is the biggest fear. A lot of the core players are entering their prime.
I remember watching that '92 AFC Championship game at my (hippy) friend's house in 8th grade. It was probably the craziest NFL game I've ever seen. It was a complete collapse by the Oilers. The Bills had a really prolific offense, even by today's standards, but Frank Reich (back-up QB) led the comeback.
I think Jimmy is right. Egos and injuries are the Seahawks' kryptonite. Pete is pretty good with locker room control though. Winning cures most of that anyway.
I know it's near impossible with mandated parity, but if they somehow developed a really good o line and some great receivers, you're talking 13-16 wins a year.
I'm going to wait until the Seahawks actually fall apart to start declaring shit about "egos"
They very likely aren't going to fall apart because they have the most talented roster in the NFL. And long term, they will be contenders for a long time. That said, there are some issues bubbling that will come up once they lose some games.
'Enablers' might believe they are helping when, in fact, they are contributing to a person's self-destruction.
Enabling can come in an infinite number of variations. Instead of insisting a person get professional help, an enabler might let a drug-using person who is falling out the bottom live in the home, may help him find a job, lend him a car (which he uses to go get drugs), or bring food over to his house day after day.

To top off my morning, I got a muscle cramp down the middle of my back about a half an hour ago just to make me feel older and more decrepit.
