I tend to like back-up RBs on KRs (unless they have Ross like speed). Dotson is a blazer and Chico is fast too (listed at 180 lbs so not super small).
It would be cool to see D. Washington do a kickoff return because he'd have plenty of time to accelerate / get to top speed and he is a load at 6'2" 221 lbs.

You've got to be fucking kidding with me the DWawrsh shit. That dude is the exact opposite of what you want. If everything is perfectly blocked and he has a huge hole, he's amazing. On kick returns, the whole thing is about setting up defenders to miss with subtle shifts. He would run into the backs of the up-men at the 18-26 yd line on 95% of KO's.
Buttah on the other hand... I'm looking forward to that.
Baker is a good one in the making but I can't vote for safety with only one known guy who is a true sophomore. Pretty much everything group is a similar story. Basically they all suck right now, until they don't.
I still think it would be interesting to see him do it, at least in fall ball a few times or against Sacramento State in the 2nd half.
IIRC, the coaches have been working with DW on his patience and one-step and go style (rather than taking the ball and running directly to where the whole is supposed to be) and that work might show itself in kickoff returns like it did with Chris Polk (though Polk was also more of a natural RB).

Too bad Ross got hurt, otherwise would have top 3 special teams in the conference.
