The QB play will shock everyone but something else will go horrible wrong.
Husky Football This Century - Just when you think you know, you don't
I like Qualls/Mathis/Dissly, but what about after them? Jaylen Johnson and Vita Vea and Greg Gaines haven't played yet, and those who will rotate this year haven't done much yet.
Jones MMXV is probably the most underrated Husky, not only nationally but on this board too, and gives us a great counter to the best WRs in the conference, but what about CB #2-5? Honestly, after watching what we saw last year, I think Joyner will play, if not be CB #3 or even #2 (though Gardenhire impressed this spring).
Safety mirrors CB with Baker as the headliner, but who's after that? Clay? Beaver? Walker? McIntosh? Turner? I can't say for sure.
LB has Feeney and Bierria who've started numerous games, and Victor seems to have passed Lawyer at MLB, but the depth at the position is a major concern when you have a freshman walk-on (Jake Wambaugh) ahead of a few scholarship players in the 2-deeps.
I can't vote for the offense at this point, but unless we switch to a triple-option with Lindquist at QB, Coleman at FB, Washington at HB, 2 TEs and a 200lb WR, then maybe I'll change my mind...
