After Wattaburger commitment, poster says, this should effectively bury the myth that Pete can't recruit big time players and will rely only on 2 star and 3 star diamonds in the rough.
Of course, Kim and his disciples are the main purveyors of this myth as Kim was constantly questioning whether Perersen would be able to "recruit with the big boys"and Kim is always giving support to posters who bash Pete on the board, especially in recruiting.
Anyways, Kim enters the thread and says "the word myth is correct". There were 1 or 2 posters who said Petersen wouldn't be able to recruit at this level and you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill. Kim also mentions that "Petersen still has a lot to prove on the recruiting front.
Enter poster SoDawg, who has bashed Petersen relentlessly on the board who posts a page and a half diatribe on how Petersen really can't recruit at this level. He uses the "all the local players were gonna come here anyway" thing along with bashing Petersen for not having secured commitments from Eason, TE Garcia (who is from LA and committed to USC (his dream school) and Dublanko (who is still a 4-star in the scout database despite holding no commitable D1 offers) and saying he is currently failing at in-state recruiting. Then he goes through the California recruits and says that USC and UCLA didn't "really want" any of them, even though several had offers. He also bashes Petersen for a number of other things.
Kim responds with "Hard to argue with any of that"
Multiple other posters go after SoDawg, rip his logic apart piece by piece, and question why he constantly posts had this anti-Petersen agenda.
Kim: "It's insulting to say people have an agenda. If we see you saying people have an agenda, we will delete your comments. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions" -
The only time KJV would ever use the phrase "hard to argue with any of that" would be in a way that allows his passive aggressive drunkness to shine through.
