Spring ball is here, water is wet, and Kent Griswold is pathetic
His first 4 were comments on several UW players similar to the lame analysis you would find anywhere (Buddha is more experienced this year, it's a 3-man race at qb, etc.)
Then you have the 5th takeaway, which, of course, both a self promotional ploy, and a backhanded slap at the current coaching staff.
"Husky football has completely lost it's relevance" lamented the CEO. KJR is talking about March Madness, Seattle Mariners baseball, and NFL draft but hardly a mention of husky football this time a year. The "winning cures all" tag is lame and tired. UW needs to reach out to local media (I wonder who he could be referring to?) and market itself to the fans. There's no excuse for not using the resources they have (ahem) to broaden their audience.
Of course it's been this way for the last 15 years but the CEO wanted to make it very clear that there is a huge disconnect right now (hmmm what could have changed in the last couple years?) between those running the program and the fans.

But how is he a bad CEO?

I pointed out that Kim would've nuked all this talk if sark were at the helm and got a timeout.
Anybody ever think Kim looks like the dead British guy from the bathroom in The Shining? -
It's not a shot at the staff, he's setting up the narrative for why the site is in decline. Also, how can you have "5 takeaways from Spring Football" after 1 day of Spring Football?

Well what would you expect from a 5-4 140 pound 55 year old ex male cheerleader from BYU who graduated in 78?bananasnblondes said:The CEO took time from his busy day being CEO and wrote a piece for his public yesterday called "5 Takeaways from Spring Football".

I've (shudder) seen that movie but somehow the dead British guy from the bathroom doesn't stand out for me...Quietcowskee said:I pointed out that Kim would've nuked all this talk if sark were at the helm and got a timeout.
