So how is it that the Mariners attendance figures fluctuate so much year to year and that the high periods are normally tied to when the team is winning and the down periods are tied to when the team is losing?

I agree with Ken on one thing and that is that the UW marketing department is a fucking joke and has been since I enrolled there in 02, if not longer. I didn't pay attention to marketing tactics when I was a kid I just loved the dawgs. While the simple solution to it all would be attempting to put a winner on the field, there's no denying that the athletic department sucks major donkey dick. The gameday experience is terrible, marketing and creating buzz is pathetic (crazy larry) and there is a huge disconnect between the AD and fans. But Kim insinuating that it's somehow Peterman's fault...he can go fuck himself with his 4" dick. Because despite what he says, he knows that it's not. For years, people have been lamenting the horrible gameday experience, lack of appreciation for the fans, their inability to create buzz in the community, etc. And I've seen plenty of poasts on the CEO's bored about this over the years. Except that when sark was the coach, when someone would make a similar point, Griswold would either a) Delete the poast before anyone could see it, (b) tell you to kick your dog, (c) tell you to stomp your foot, (d) tell you to take a long walk to gain some perspective or (e) "you might want to step away from the keyboard for a while." Option (a) was the overwhelming favorite of KJV but in the rare case one would slip through the cracks, options b-e were usually combined (except when discussing the deterioration of his weird sexual fetish with the dawg pack and this Akita fag). He wouldn't even acknowledge that a problem existed when they were running crazy larry ads and sark was embarking on his memorable run of 7 win seasons while attendance continued to dwindle.
Yet Peterman has only been here one season and all of a sudden something that's been apparent for the better part of 15 years has gone from non-existent and ridiculing/censoring those who dare breach the subject, to full-fledged disaster. And this while insinuating that the new coach is somehow a major reason for the problems he refused to admit even existed 16 months ago? As I said, the CEO can go fuck himself. His power trips and egomaniacal behavior is embarrassing. And his obsession with taking passive-aggressive jabs at the new coach, censoring those who disagree with him yet still zealously defending the 5-year coach with annual 3 game losing streaks, 4 blowout losses per year, who never won more than 5 games in conference, left a team with no depth/holes up and down the roster to his replacement and widely known character issues to boot is not only pathetic, but transparent and wreaks of desperation.
When is the UW AD going to go the way of WIAA and cut off this midget's access to the program? He does far more harm than good and his obvious agenda is obvious to everyone over the age of 12 (or with the equivalent IQ of someone over the age of 12...hence pdf, huskylawyer, terry dell, krisvashon s14aFS, etc. still paying $120 a year). I would like nothing more than to see that happen. Not only because he deserves to be cut off. But also because observing the CEO transform from his current downward spiral of being a disheveled, delusional, paranoid, predictable enemy of the program with little dick disease and inferiority complex simply because he no longer has a fellow alcoholic coach in power to make him feel important by giving him little nuggets of irrelevant info...into full blown meltdown mode while his once great website finally goes under would be pure entertainment gold.
If he was just a harmless idiot without the most disproportionate ego relative to height in the entire world who genuinely thought that sarkdashian was the greatest football coach that ever lived...fine. I would still make fun of him for his stupidity, but all he would be is an equally irrelevant fucktard good for a few belly laughs once in a while. But his out of control ego, temper tantrums, outright lies, manipulation, censoring of dissenting opinion and his agenda-driven crusade against the current coach for no logical reason while pretending to be impartial is too much. What a worthless piece of shit.
