Am I the only one that feels like seattle is the luckiest franchise in the history of sports? (At least these last few years anyways). Every single time there is a lucky break to be had, by golly they get it!! I was thinking today that YES their incredible supply of good luck and fortunes is finally about to run out. Sherman is finally about to be humbled and come out with the shi**y end of the stick. I finally got to see him in some pain and I loved it. Looked like he was crying on the sideline at one point. It looked like we were finally gonna see them lose a big game in their own house. But hey, the incredible good luck came back with a vengeance in the last half of the 4th quarter!! Ok I'm not denying that seattle is a good team. Great defense of course. But come on they do get a ridiculous amount of lucky breaks.
First of all, wtf was Aj Hawk doin on the fake FG? He decided to just let the lineman run past him to try to tackle the PUNTER who already had 2 or 3 guys chasing him and was definitely not gonna run for the 1st down. That was a lucky break that Aj Hawk had a brain fart on what would have been an easy play to defend had he ran with the lineman.
Then, the awesome onside kick. WTF. How often does someone on the "hands" team let the ball hit them in the face and bounce right into the opposing player's hands? Almost never. But hold on, this is seattle we're talking about. I just knew some type of bullsh*t was gonna happen when that ball was kicked.
The 2 pt conversion. WTF was Clinton-dix doing? That ball was just heaved up there with a prayer and he had all kinds of time to get in position to make a play but instead he sorta just stayed behind the receiver for some stupid reason.
I realize im ranting and maybe my argument sounds stupid, but im pissed. I don't care what anyone says, I watch a lot of seattle games hopin to see them lose and they always get lucky as f*ck! Today was like torture. They had all kinds of bad luck in the first half, but somehow they still end up winning.
I'm not old enough to have been able to experience the Niners glory days, I became a die-hard in 1997 so basically at the end of the glory years. So I am pretty concerned with the now, personally. And now I am pissed because seattle is so arrogant and their fans act like they are the only people in America who cheer for a football team with all this #12 bullsh*t. Any real Niner fan should be angry and shouldn't want these dicks to win anything, certainly not another Super Bowl. So IMO, I dunno how you could not care if you actually watched today's game and you are a Niner fan.......I need a beer or 12

This is Deja Vu watching Seattle squeeze "another" victory facing guaranteed defeat. Watching Seattle (today with zero bias) I feel they are a solid team. However, they are not elite. I feel their coaching is solid, but this team gets the craziest lucky breaks that I have seen of any team. The biggest difference is that Seattle plays extremely "hard" for their head coach. If SF was in this position with coach Harbaugh we would definitely lose. I feel Balke, and York made the right decision to pick a man that our players will actually play hard for. We have the talent, and I feel we definitely will do what GB did today but, "finish the job." Seattle is literally a bunch of "OK" players that play verrrrry hard. I KNOW coach Tomsula will give us what we need to take the next step. Wilson Is what we thought he was, and our core is salivating seeing this game.
This game is undeniable proof that the 49ers is WAY BETTER than Seattle but is disappointed by bad coaching. This also proves that Wilson is overated and his D and Lynch bails him out time and time again. KAEP is better than Wilson by a mile but Kaep is misguided and is not being groomed properly to be elite.
If 49ers and Seattle plays 10 games. 49ers win 7 out of 10.
The OP in that thread forgot to give credit where credit is due. The Niners were among the worst teams in the league for most of their existence until Eddie "Fat Stacks", DeBartolo, Jr. bought them. DeBartolo brought in Walsh who developed probably the most significant coaching tree in NFL history, and was part of assembling some of the most talented teams the NFL has ever seen. Scholarship limits coupled with illegal fruit basket dealings led to Fat Stacks ceding his AD duties to Marie "Babs" DeBartolo who was more focused on Title Nines than Niners, and this ultimately led to the demise of the Ninerskies so poor teams like the florescent green SeaDooks could rise.
