Oregon fans were waiting to greet the team on a great season and to exclaim how much they still love their ducks.

    IOW Oregon is fucked. HTH

A doog's worst nightmare. Just when they thought Oregon would finally begin to decline and as they secured their "great" $2.5 million a year coach that would return them to the days of riding shotgun as USC's sidekick, Oregon goes to the Natty while Peter PudWacker performs at the level they expected Helfrich to.

The Huskies have more talent than they have ever had. All the receivers were freshman, the wonder twins. Damon Huard is better than Brunell. Kauffman and the stable of running backs are better than anything Oregon has. Breuner and the tight ends are great because its Washington. Every one who plays D line for Washington goes to the NFL. I was wrong about Lambo - he can coach.

Mosster is right. 24-4 >>>>>>>> 14-8. Winners win.
I will say that so far he does have Kelly's team executing at a high level, though some of that has to be balanced with them shitting themselves when they get punched in the mouth. Stanford and Arizona last year were clear examples of that, and this year, anyone with a pair of eyes can see that they are not deep with elite fast and powerful athletes such as those at Ohio State. To be fair, USC is probably the only team in the conference that typically has that depth, but they're just coming off sanctions and coached by an inept armenian. Oregon should continue to compete for conference titles, but getting to the playoffs again, under the current format, let alone getting over that last hump will be no easy task.
Hey buttfuck Cletus. You might have missed it, but your allstar Bama team got fucked over by the same amount of points and yardage. We can go to any SEC forum and hear this same hillbilly shit about Oregon regurgitated over and over. While UW is shitting themselves in about 70% of the games they play, Oregon made the NCG 2 times in the last 5 years. Your swamprat brethren are always quick to jump on the rare Oregon loss and claim it's proof that Oregon is a gimmick, even though it's the program in CFB that has the most wins for the last several years. You cornbread fed clowns are so quick to forget how Oregon punched Stanford, Utah, Michigan State and Florida State in the mouth and stood up to their 'physicality.' Had a few dropped passes been caught early and momentum maintained this game would have been different. A larger lead would have neutralized their running back somewhat and forced their QB to take more chances. Unfortunately a few ducks were off their game, and a certain dumbfuck chose to smoke weed instead of play in the Natty.

Bama would have whooped Oregon's ass this year. They were the true #2 team to Ohio St.

Pretty good for a down year, if you ask me.

They gave up more than 500 yards. They were no better than FSU or Oregon. But an SEC homer wouldn't recognize those kind of facts.

Oregon also gave up more than 500 yards, and they also lost by 22 with a 4-1 turnover advantage.

Bama would have whooped your asses. Saban > Helfrich. Fact.

They couldn't stop shit. They are a shell of what they formerly were, on both sides of the ball. They would have lost if good Oregon showed up to play the game.

Good Oregon just didn't want to be there. They didn't want Ohio State.

SMH @OBK. Oregon would have had the same problems with Bama that they had with Ohio State. Bama was down for Bama this year, but they have the same type of athletes Ohio State does and they have an enormous advantage at head coach. They would have physically pounded Oregon. The national championship was decided in New Orleans this year, not Arlington.

People who think Helfraud will do the same or just be a fraction worse than Kelly didn't watch some of the Arizona and Stanford games...or the game on Monday.

Chip got his asshole pushed in by Boise State and Stanford. He also got physically dominated by Ohio State and Auburn in BCS Bowls. He also lost to Lane Kiffin at home. The LSU game was more sloppy play than getting dominated in any way.

Chip had three consecutive seasons where he needed to win a tight ball game to make the NC Game, he failed two of the three times.

Face it, Oregon isn't going anywhere. UW is going nowhere because of this.

The Sugar Bowl was the championship game. Check the facts.

Take a break, son. The daily pressures of pumping that gas to just the right amount is taking its toll, along with watching your favorite team get blown out in their most important moment. Vancouver Canucks fans and Buffalo Bills fans think you're a puss-spouting, raging vagina right now.

Bro, gas pumps twice as slow now, allegedly, because of the price drop.

great "tick tock" thread as always doogs.

On another note, there are about 10 people in the history of people who have outdone Larry Cokers title haul. This idea that a coach is shit because "He can't even match Larry Coker" is about as FS as it gets.

Initially it looked like Slingblade had the program going into the toilet. Recruiting under Slingblade is flat out better than under Chip.

The Ducks made a title game with Darron Thomas. I loved his clutch play but as far as ability he's the worst QB Oregon has had since before Bill Musgrave. He couldn't really run or throw.

The system isn't slowing down and it hasn't taken a step back. Sure, there will he some plays that the new guys won't make that Mariota probably would. Dixon, Masoli, Thomas, and Mariota all had different games. Dixon had Oregon to #2 in their first year in the system. Masoli had them in a Rose Bowl. Thomas had them in a title game. Mariota had them in a title game. Mahalack will have them doing big things.

The overall roster is bigger, stronger, and faster ever year. Slingblade isn't going anywhere and neither is Oregon, that is the reality. The Ducks will be back in the playoff within the next four years.

    SCO Ducks!!

I kind of feel like my cautious optimism stood the test of tim pretty well. I hated Helf Y1, was cautiously optimistic after the NCG appearance, and I hated him again about 30 minutes into the 2015 season.

Even so, he is still 2-1 against Petermen
