That kid went to high school with my oldest son. Can't say it surprises me as I kind of wanted to beat him with soap also. It did happen though. It was talked about alot out here in A-Town (I like to call Auburn A-Town, makes it sound like slightly less of a shit hole)
On a slightly related note. The kid's dad (moment of silence, tragic passing, T's and P's) was a total trainwreck on the sidelines when the kid was playing QB. Running up and down the fence behind the bench. Screaming at his kid while they were in the huddle on the sideline with the coach until the kid would have to leave the huddle to pay attention to his dad while the rest of the offense went over the next set of plays. In retrospect, getting a broken jaw from some big Samoan probably was not so bad in comparison
Court documents cite head coach Mike Leach specifically, referring to a letter he sent to the WSU Student Conduct Board in support of Su’a-Kalio. The letter stated Su'a-Kalio misinterpreted the accountability preaching and took it literally.

Only the 3rd incident under Leach I can think of players reporting something like this. Complete misunderstanding.
