This whole incident really drives home how much steak >>>> sizzle when evaluating TBS.
I remember poasting about how 100% of Oregon commits made it into school over something like a 4 year period... which increases the chances of those guys getting into the program and eventually contributing on the field. Sark really fucked you guys by burning redshirts unnecessarily and just lazy recruiting.

As someone who has really started digging into recruiting and what not, I think more than anything Sark's biggest failure (and also the regimes before him) was roster management. Too many players have left, too many never came in. It's about finding guys who are a fit for your program, that hasn't happened around here for a long time.
Will the last Sark receiver please turn out the lights.
Who does that leave, Mickens, Ross and kind of Daniels?
Mickens might leave per previous email this week from RoadDawg.....what if Ross stays on defense?
Thanks for the free pub, but I don't know anything about Mickens leaving. I don't really like Mickens, but we kind of need him to stay in order to have a somewhat competent group of WR's.

Only 1 player has committed to Peteresen and then decommitted. It was that QB who committed before Magna Carta and then left a week later for Sark, of all people. When Sark was coach we probably averaged about 5 guys committing and then decommitting each recruiting cycle along with 2 or 3 who couldn't make it into school and another 4 or 5 leaving the program each year during the offsesson. Hence, after 5 years of Sark we have true freshmen starting at 3 of the 4 db positions. It is fun, though, to being in 27 recruits each year so you can beat Oregon in the Scout team rankings because of sheer volume. Go back and look at Sark's class lists and make note of who actually made it through UW or is still here. #whywesuck
