One More Thing About Magna Carta

KJCS went to Bellermine Prep in San Jose. It's your standard Catholic School. Good not great academics, good athletics. Definitely not a brainy place. They have a solid football program that has occasionally produced Pac12 level players in the past, but no one exceptional.Tequilla said:The thesis is that the Magna Carta family is pretty fucking smart.
If I recall right, he went to high school at a fairly brainy place in the Bay Area.
I firmly believe that being a good QB is as much (if not more) about things outside of your athletic ability than your athletic ability. Sure, you have to be able to have a good/great arm, etc. to be a QB. But your ability to read defenses, manipulate defenders, inspire confidence in your teammates, and get your team out of bad plays and into good plays.
I actually looked up the school's wikipedia page to verify my memory, I saw that Nick Holt, Football Genius, is actually an alum.
And for whatever it's worth, I know UCLA recruited him pretty heavily as they were scrambling for QBs last year. They took someone else but they definitely were recruiting him late. -

He isn't the answer. He couldn't beat out Miley.

The fact that sark didn't recruit him is as much of a + in his corner than anything else after the mess we have on the current roster.

Kim claims that when asking the coaches which player they expect to make a big splash next year, the first name mentioned is always Magna Carta. Last year it was Lavon Coleman so take otfor what its worth.
