Dexter started incredible, than got absurd. After the Lithgow season it was a rapid decline. The Julia Stiles season was serviceable, but it plummeted afterwards.

True of most of the great cable shows. Hard to get past three seasons. Banshee was already limping last year in season 2.

Watched the first season. It was solid enough to watch the second, though I haven't got around to watching it yet. Vikings is even better.

I mostly agree, but the season before the last one was good. The one with Julia Stiles was meh and the one with Tom Hanks' son was really shitty. I thought the last season was okay.
