Anyone watched this before? I got into it recently and it's fucking awesome. Mark Antony would be a HH poster if he were alive today.

Still mad they stopped after 2 seasons.

    It was fucking awesome.

Between that and killing Deadwood too soon, HBO fucked up big time.

I just watched all the episodes 0f Rome last week. 8/10 IMO.
Good nudity...makes me wish I had slaves.

I just finished the last 3 seasons of Dexter a few days ago. I love that show...good ending too.

I plan to finish the last 2 seasons of Spartacus in a week or 2. Sad that the main actor died in real life after season 2...
Breaking Bad first season was great, I'll finish that series within a year.

I'll watch Game of Thrones when they're close to finishing the series - I don't like to start something with years and years left.

The Mentalist is my favorite...I studied NLP because of that show.

Lot of people seemed to not like the Dexter ending, but it worked for me. I love how they gave a shoutout to the PNW in the 3rd-4th to last episodes...

I thought the Rome ending was a bit lackluster...they probably thought there might be a season 3 maybe.

Rome wasn't supposed to end at season 2. But it was very expensive to shoot, and it didn't take off the way Game of Thrones has.

BTW, Dexter fucking sucks. Bunch of cliche bullshit.

    Love Rome.

It was supposed to be 5 seasons, the main writer had the story arcs all planned out. FOr example, the parts of Season 2 that are in Egypt, well that was supposed to be the entire season 3. But the show was so expensive that they almost canceled it after season 1, but they ended up giving him a shortened 9 season second and told him it would be the final season. So he re-wrote season 2 and 3 and combined them into a short 9 season finale.

    Titus Pulo is a man.

The best part is that was Marc Antony's attitude moments before delivering the speech of his life.

When it comes to pure dialogue, Deadwood might be the greatest show ever made. The flow of the episode from sober morning to drunken night was phenomenal. Also as the seasons progress the characters start blending lingo seamlessly which is what happens in real life and is rarely seen on screen.

Fucking shame contract disputes finished that off.

Deadwood really let "cunt" back into the lexicon.

    Bravo.

If you are a film nerd, you need to watch this scene in Deadwood. Swearengen most definitely would belong here.

One of the best monologues ever delivered.

    utorrent.

I have Netflix, but I like to watch these shows at like 1.2-1.5X speed on VLC player to knock out a season in 6-7 hours.

Deadwood is already downloaded and waiting...
