Holmgren wants to coach SF

That wouldn't be the worst hire but it certainly would only be mediocre. Soft, finesse teams wouldn't go far in the NFC West. The game was passing him by toward the end of his Hawks career.

    The roster needs to be turned upside down ... SF should be bad for at least 2-3 years.

    They'll be limited until they can get the Kaep money off the books in a couple years.

    They should build around Kaep. QB is too important and it's a very risky move to try and find a better one. Teams can suck for years when they do that.

    Kaep was good enough to get them to a Super Bowl and NFC title game. He's not Sanchez. He has talent and can play.
