Good win in spite of some piss poor shooting. The ability to turn it on from the line and behind the arc in the last three minutes was huge. NWG and Andrews need to shoot more.

At this point the Oklahoma game would just be gravy, successful non conference result either way (barring a big time upset) Tulane is probably the 2nd best team left and they were uncompetitive vs Wake forest

Pretty damn good win. That Eastern team has some serious fucking shooters. This team has clutchness in its genes. NWG and Upsaw are superstars, not being hyperbolic at all. Really Happy Johnson hit that huge 3 down the stretch, I still think he'll be a very good player for us.

If Upshaw hit his throws he would have had like 30+ points too lol

I think he went 3-4 down the stretch, so that was really clutch and hopefully is a sign he can improve.

That motherfucker Harvey was fucking pissing me off. He was unconscious.

That pull up 3 ball was just nasty.

I think that tight game against UTEP really helped this team during the 2nd half in this game. They have faced some great adversity early in the season and have responded magnificently.

Coming back to beat a Little Sky team at home is special.

    Something Indiana couldn't do
    Too bad for them.

I have barely followed the team since March of 2013 and am just learning some of the players, but it's hard to get real excited. I've seen Romar teams turn it on at the end after a lackluster game, and everyone gets excited. I'm not falling for that again.

So in other words, it's good they won, but it was expected. I'll see how they do vs. pac 12 teams.

Romar has never remotely had OOC success like this.

The 2005 and 2006 teams say whaaaaaaat?

I feel like those teams definitely had an OOC loss or two. I'm too lazy to check.

in 2004-05 they beat a Utah team that finished 29-6, alabama who finished 24-8, and an Oklahoma team who finished 25-8.
Clearly that one was the best

2005-2006 lost to Gonzaga. They beat some pretty good teams though.
05-06 was the team that beat the Zags, 04-05 lost to them

EWU probably beats half the pac-12. the huskies are not great but they're probably still 3rd best in the conference

Looking at some of the OOC games in conference it appears that it's a year where 5-6 teams could make the tournament: Arizona, UCLA, Utah, California, UW, Colorado, and maybe Oregon or OSU.
