Where did all the Mora and Jonathan Smith Bashers Go?
Just a month ago, Mora was a dunce and Smith was a moron. Now, both look pretty good and all we hear from the critics are crickets, writes Derek Johnson.

I still don't like Mora and still think he will fail. He did pull a few wins out of his ass this year to make him look better. I give him those. I could be wrong, but biased on his resume, I don't think he is a good head coach.
I see UCLA staying in at least the top 10-15 nationally for as long as Moras here. The OL and front seven is emerging as a real strength of the team and the QB coming in next year has way more hype than Hundley ever had. UCLA historically has been a top 20ish program that recruited well but played like a bunch of pussies. Under the Mora they recruit even better and they are one of the TUFFest teams in the p12. Though I admit - to break through to consistent top 10 level they need to get the sloppiness and NFL conservatism out a little bit.
Next two years I think are critical for UW/UO rivalry and North supremacy. Stanford is regressing (and Grantland says Hogan is early NFL bound), Peterson hits that year 3 springboard, and Helfrich tries to prove he's not Larry Coker in the post-Mariota world.
Either way, you miserable fucks will say everything sucks except Alabama and Dantonio, which won't be that interesting.
Wasn't Hundley a 5 star recruit? UCLA will have talent, but replacing Hundley with a freshman or Jerry Neuheisel and there may be a step back. It's tough to say though because the rest of your team is loaded. Somewhere between 10-20 seems about right. It's too bad Hundley isn't coming back, because you may have entered at #1 next year if he did.

He was. Hundley had a lot of hype coming in and performed. Josh Rosen is the unanimous #1 QB and top 10 player nationally across all TBS sites. Hundley wasn't on that level out of HS, which is no shot at Hundley, so don't twist.
Depending on how QB transition goes - it won't be Neuheisel - I think they'll end up between 8-4 and 10-2. Which will be in that 10-20 range. Schedule is much much easier thankfully for the new QB. Take off Huskies and Ducks and pick up Beavs and Coogs. Non-Conf should be 3 wins (uva byu unlv all at home) as well.
All that is missing is some J Smith reverses in the red zone tomorrow to cost UW the game.
It's very hard for me to upvote something that is about as bad as watching my dog get beheaded in front of me, but it's a good joke, so f it. But, fuck, I do NOT want that to happen.

We're still here.
