I love the Shaq play. It puts a couple of pretty spectacular athletes on display. Shaq's read and acceleration to make the hit were impressive for a LB. Baker's acceleration to try and pick that off the guy's back is almost otherworldly. Holy shit that kid can fly.

During the Official UW-OSU game thread, someone asked why call that play at that point during the game and show opposing teams what we might do. I disagree. I think it's a great add to the play book knowing that if your defense over commits to stop the fly sweep, you risk the TE throw back.

This is a really nice throw by Miles. If he puts air under it, the safety or the OLB that took false steps may have been able to tackle Daniels. Instead, Miles throws it with some oomph and the Beavs had no chance.

We have ran variations of that play the past few weeks anyways, so teams are already aware of it. There was one against UCLA where Myles Jack showed some great closing speed on a play that should have went for big yardage, and Hartvigson almost scored a TD on that play against Arizona.
Some Oregon St. analysis - Sean Mannion is terrible. He either throws running backwards and planting on his backfoot, or he holds the ball for 15 seconds and goes down as easily as a Joey's waitress.

It'll be like the scene from fucking Downfall. That's like building a maximum security prison to keep Terri Schiavo contained.
