Looks like the "Doog of the Week" is already locked up.
This is the reason I HATE today's media and don't listen to sports radio. He is just posting that shit to try to get people to listen to his show. No other reason, besides the fact that he is stoopid. He knows people will get fired up on both sides about that question. Fucker.
So he'd get a bigger thrill out of an Oregon loss than a Washington win? That's Beaver territory right there. He should be sanctioned by KJR for even asking that question.
I'm actually pretty surprised by these responses. Softy I'm assuming is taking the long term approach as espoused by many on here. Long term it's much better for the Dawgs if Oregon goes down in flames the next couple of weeks. If they win it all, it will just widen the gap between the two programs. Also if TSIO, as many on here are saying, there's not much difference between 6 or 7 wins. I'm ok with bashing Softy but I think he's actually demonstrating vision here.

You give Softy too much credit. There is as much likelihood of Softy being an astute critical thinker as there is of Damone going to a Sounders game.
I knew this would be perceived as a doogish response but I am 180 degrees from doogville. I don't really care if the comment came from Softy or the biggest anti-doog on here. The point remains the same. For the Huskies to eventually become championship caliber they are going to have to go through Oregon. If we assume that happens by the Huskies getting infinitely better while Oregon remains the same, that is the ultimate in wishful thinking. Every win for this program is critical at this point, but I'd gladly give one up if it brought them back closer to the pack. Yes, ultimately you want to catch up to Oregon and beat their ass, but them fukking up just makes that task easier.

Really? 1991 only made Oregon more determined. I don't want Oregon to win but it would cause a shit storm that might get UW off their ass
Yeah Race I thought the same. But do you really believe Washington would respond if Oregon wins it all? I have serious doubts. I just don't think the institutional will is there. I don't think the culture is there. Which I guess makes it all mute whether Oregon wins or not.

I don't think it will really make a difference if Oregon wins a title or not.
