We had the win sealed, but for some unknown reason we tried to run out the clock by running one more play, and fumbled, and then Zona kicked a FG for the win as time ran out. Pete said the chart upstairs specified one more play with that much time on the clock.
As best I can figure out, they would have had to punt with at worst 15-20 seconds left, probably more like 12. So realistically AZ gets the ball around their own 25 and has at worst two plays to get into fg range. Jesus Christ....

Nope, they could have completely ran out the clock. The last snap would have been with under 10 seconds.
At the time I wasn't that upset about running with Cooper. He is a fucktard for fumbling, but it was not necessary. Petersen should have known better.
Can someone please enlighten me as to what the hell happened?
There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Other than the ones that couldn't see.
It's too bad schools aren't allowed to have an in house announcer, a PA announcer if you will, to allow those who cannot see, to experience the joys of cheering on 81st year RB backs.
