USC deserves Sark

Go over to their forums and look how many fans are happy they beat Cal by 8.

And anyone bringing up how poorly they played in the second half or how they allowed Cal to get back in the game is met with attacks and disdain.

It's actually pretty funny.

    WTF?

They looked phenomenal in the 1st half and I didn't watch after the 1st half.

USC had to recover an onside kick to seal the game.

If you watched the first half... let that message sink in.

Typical Sark. He will look okay for a quarter or half, then blow the lead.

I'm just learning from this bored that USC only won by 8. I turned it off at 31-2.

That saved SC. Instead of 3rd and insanely long, they went down and scored.

#21 is an idiot for even jumping in there. #21.... wait, we know that number for doing stupid shit on our team.

Without that dipshit personal foul penalty from the Cal sideline at the end of the 3rd quarter, Cal might have pulled that one out.

Pete would have won that game 65-10. USC is in for some fantastic mediocre seasons.

I cannot believe how little adjustments are made on offense as the game progresses. The defense...well there are virtually no adjustments made which is why this team continues to melt down in the 2nd half whether they squeak a win out or lose in the final minutes. Sark seems to call a decent game on offense until the opposition makes adjustments. Sark needs to hand play-calling duties to Helton and find a replacement for JV Wilcox. There is no improvement 10 games in now which is unacceptable. I don't buy the "defense is gassed due to lack of depth" argument in this case. SC held Kal to 3 and-outs on practically every first half possession. This team needs a dose of Coach O as there seems to be a lack of spark and focus. Sarkantfinish does not inspire me as a leader. Getting outscored 28-7 in the 2nd half by Kal - at home! I don't see this team beating either ucla or ND this year given what we all just witnessed. Mora and Kelly are substantially better coaches than what SC has at this point.

Why do we continus to have so many penalties year after year? Reply
    Penalties/yards
    CALIFORNIA 14/160
    Washington State 7/70
    Utah 6/48
    Colorado 7/85
    Arizona 13/103
    A-state 9/60
    Oregon State 14/124
    Boston College 3/20
    STANFORD 10/87
    FRENSO STATE 9/76

    Penalties/Yards
    TOTAL 92/833

    Penalties/yards
    AVERAGE 9.2/83.3
Penalties don't matter though, that's what I've heard. Really though that's fucking terrible. Three games where they have had at least 13 penalties lol. Ironically their most disciplined game is when they got smoked by BC.

"What more do you want. Sark didn't take the air out of the ball. These type of offenses are geared up to score and move the ball. The days of Shutouts and keeping P12 offenses under 20 are over. Yes the penalties took away 3 TD's from us. The Kids have to play the games. They sure didn't do that in the 1st half did they. So any excuse about execution is nonsense. Penalties are a part of the game, and with our youth it is more prevalent. We won and we did kick their arse. You better got get use this type of thing with these type of offenses. If this was the UofA, ASU. Utah game. I can get where you're coming from. Oh and our D held Call well under their season avg for total yards."

Sure, blame youth for the penalties and not the sloppy fat fuck who's supposedly in charge of the team.

Wow, posts like that will keep Sark at USC forever! It's just not possible to stop these high powered Pac-12 offenses these days. You should be happy Wilcox even coaches here at all.

PLENTY of head coaches call plays. But WEARESC posters are uber sensitive because they have post traumatic Kiffin syndrome.

Sark's coaching performance has not been bad because he is calling plays. The play calling is fine and the coaching is fine. The execution is poor when the players get tired.

Hell, the people on this board think that the DC who managed to hold Cal to no offensive points until the very end of the first half is terrible because....they say so. No credit is given for what he has done with limited numbers and he is given no leeway even though it is obvious that the defense just doesn't play as well at the end of games. No, they just prefer to believe that the defensive scheme changes entirely in the fourth quarter.

I don't think any of you whiny little pukes should be allowed to enjoy this team when it gets back to full strength in two years. You just don't deserve it.

    Spooge?

What a fuckstick... I guess the coach is not responsible for conditioning & the players getting effective practice to work out the kinks.

USC deserves "fans" like these. Miley & Mini Terminator:
