Seahawks are in talks for Vincent Jackson.
Does Vincent Jackson play oline or rush the passer?

I'm glad someone has the energy and patience to go on hooks.net. I don't think I could handle it. I don't disagree with having a tall, physical receiver on the roster. But, that could be addressed in the off-season or during the draft. I don't know much about Jackson, other than the fact that he's tall, big, and old (31).

Are they still blaming Wilson after he was the first one to throw for 300+ yards and rush for 100+ in an NFL game?

I wouldn't mind that trade unless they give up something stupid like a 3rd round draft pick or higher. He's older yes but there are plenty of productive older, big WR's like him (Andre Johnson, Boldin). He'll lose speed but who cares, he wasn't fast to begin with.

Going to hook here but I really think a new O line coach would help a lot. There's enough 1/2nd round picks to assume that there is enough talent. The problem is execution (procedure penalties, holding, missed blocks), which falls on the coach. Cable is more concerned with his guys being tough brawlers and I just don't think he has any idea how to coach any sort of technique.

TLDR; Carroll should pull a Harbaugh and fire Cable (and Bevell?) and make another SB run?

Vincent Jackson is a good player, but I fully agree. We have enough at WR. The OL and lack of pass rush are killing us.

They all unanimously don't want a trade to happen. So I really hope it does just to fuel their downward spiral of depression.

totally true that the offense is roughly as good as last year. The 12s ignore the fact that repeating that 2013 defensive performance was essentially impossible statistically speaking. No one wants to admit that the defense is much worse, and anyone that knows anything about averages should have seen te natural regression coming a mile away.

This is more than natural regression. So far the defense has been an average unit at best
