I think that helps. It might sound dumb, but Arizona people freak out over rain (and cold). They'll cancel youth gaymes and practices. I saw some dumb Mexican cunt wearing a blanket when it was 64 degrees and clear while watching soccer. Think of how NW people act when it's either 96 degrees or there's six inches of snow.

    Current win streak 8 - since 2002

Fuck. I bet ASZone will be over here yelling 12 in a row any day now.

I'd have to think ASU will be favored by at least a FG. Maybe even 6 or 7 points.....but what the hell do I know, I was very confident the Huskies would cover yesterday.

ASU is also 17-14 against UW. Surprising.

Can someone post 5 reasons and see what their fans think?

There is no reason why we shouldn't beat ASU. They can definitely be had and it's at home.
I don't think I'm a doog in saying I think we win something like 27-24

I can think of several reasons. Maybe even 5.

And you're most certainly a doog.

Let me rephrase that, there are plenty of reasons why we won't win, but there is no reason we can't

Maybe you could pack your patience and wait until tomorrow.

Yes. I'm sure all the UW players from California are a lot better in the rain than the ASU players from california.

The fans not liking the weather could be a factor.

Yep, getting plungered by a good but totally beatable ASU team at home is okay. And I'm the doog

No. Overlooking UW deficiencies and having no other reason but hope makes you a Doog.

Fair, we clearly aren't going to compete for anything this year. However the 31-7 cal game did happen.
My preseason expectations were 10 wins or GTFO, I see no reason why they should be adjust midseason

It's not overlooking UW's deficiencies. We aren't good. We aren't terrible either. It's a tough, but winnable game. Do you watch any football other than UW games? Have you watched ASU this season? Could you name 3 players on ASU without looking it up?

My first impression is a number of you have not watched ASU play this year or realize we have beat you a number of times in Seattle, even in the rain with Ericson. ASU has a young defense, more first year starters and true freshman than anyone in the league. The Devils have improved since UCLA on defense a good deal which was also our 2nd string QB's first start, with Kelly going down. How would you do with a second string QB with his first game being UCLA, he did throw for over 600 yards in a loss. You can't run when you get down big early. Berc has played lights out since then, but Kelly will be able to go by the game next week. The real questions is who will play for ASU? Kelly is from Idaho and Strong from Philly, the rain will not be a factor since we can run the ball and have a balanced attack. Unless still hurt, it will be Kelly. Wilcox loaded the box to stop the run and dared Berc to throw after what happened to the Huskies in Tempe last year. It failed, with Berc throwing for 500 yards and no turn overs. This will be a battle, especially against Washington's good defensive front, but the Huskies will struggle in the secondary. Our O-line is superior to the Ducks and kept the QB standing against USC and Stanford, two teams that are good on defense. Very difficult game on the road for ASU, but to think you are not going to have a tough time is unrealistic.
