Thoughts From the Weekend (Abbreviated)

I have very little time this morning and a raging hangover (can't remember what I drank last night, so no wine of the week recommendation until I can peek inside the recycling bin and see what it was), so only going to briefly touch on 2 things:
First, it turns out that I was actually able to watch the 1st and 3rd quarters of the Washington / Cal game on my phone... with special thanks to that freaky Russian mobile link that has undoubtedly now hacked every piece of my financial data... but hey, got to see Shaq go house on a fumble and Miles drop a perfect pass into the hands of some receiver I can't remember the name of. Was impressed with what the limited amount I saw though. The players actually look in control and prepared.
Second, and finally, I will admit I was really hoping to see one of two things late last night. Either I wanted Sark to get plungered or I wanted to see Sark let a win slip away again... but, as my wife has been saying for 10 years "... in college football ALWAYS bet against the kicker." Sigh... so close. I think we can all agree on 2 things about USC - Sark still has no idea how to manage a game AND that the legend of Justin Wilcocks is dead. I didn't watch after the game to see if Sark asked Haden for another post-game piggy back ride, but I'd have to guess that Haden has seen enough to know how this movie will eventually end.
