Perspective from watching all the bowel/playoff games...

Is there any actual hope someone on the roster now is good enough to push? Feels like QBs don't get developed from HS to play at UWs level anymore. Last one was...Browning? Dylan morris kind of

Unless he grows 4 inches in the off season, Demond is what Demond is.

The formula all great coaches use. Competition breeds excellence.

Good analysis. Also suffering from the same flu pretty sure picked up at a bar in Woolley alcoholic fiancé and my sister aka Mrs. Joey made me go to. Thank god I have gotten all 25 booster shots or I'd surely be in the hospital.
I definitely get the look at Demond vs the other playoff QB thing. I caught myself having positive thoughts about Carson Beck. Was shocked when Chambliss caught fire against UGA. That guy looked truly abysmal when I saw him against Coug in Oxford. Can Demond get hot like that against non-Butgers?
It feels QB and OL play is really down across the board and have to assume the current structure of the sport has something to do with it. Defenses seem to be a step ahead of offenses right now and will be interesting to see if things adjust. Wonder if it also has something to do with helmet comms.

Anyone have charts of various offensive and defensive stats over, say, the last 34-17 years?
Would be cool to see if Woolley's deep thoughts for the day have any merit in a data-informed world.

UW will finish the year ranked and will likely start the year ranked
Computers have UW top 20 already
-
PGOS's Excel spreadsheet has UW #1 every preseason.

No. I just am right.

I agree with the comments about the line play. Against good teams we have ZERO pressure on the quarterback. And our offensive line, though improved from last year, sucked.
Finally, we even if we get the lines to a reasonable level, we will still have Gilligan calling plays and leading us to lose against the likes of Wisconsin.
