Don't know that he got played here, but definitely mismanaged the situation as it unfolded. Timing was brutal. Needed to get Davis and Dixon to be a win. The biggest issue is if whatever they were gonna spend on Dixon isn't turned into a position of need which appears to be the case.
Davis may be a wash vs Dixon. I know Davis is a better pro prospect, not sure he is any better in college. If that's the case, keep the guy that's already done it here.
