Pacific Palisades Fire

Check this out.

Update: Friend has actually received a massive check from insurance(unlike a lot of unfortunate people).
City still won't allow them to access the site despite them having a contractor itching to go build.
Estimated 4-6 month backlog for an evaluation to determine the NEED for remediation through the city/county contractor. That's not if they need remediation, just evaluation.
Plenty of offers on the table for the land despite Newsome promising to stop "speculators". Real mystery.
I think Trump's 18 months to get a permit was wildly optimistic.

TugTards believing that bullshit about Newsom expediting and even eliminating some of the lengthy regulatory red tape was one of the few funny things about those threads.
Another was H getting his ass kicked so bad he made up a story about two of his kids being evacuated earlier that day as the fat fuck was dicking around all day here defending Democrats.

Curious to know which God of Hellfire footprint your friends are trying to rebuild in so soon and why.
-
Yeah, how dare they want to build their house back on their own land and get their lives back. Scumbags.
-
Needs context. The clean up alone is going to take months and it's a toxic nightmare. Neighborhoods were firebombed like Tokyo a little over a month ago. Contamination and destruction above and below ground. It's retarded to even consider rebuilding in many of these locations at this point

Back to nothing can be done
-
Back to "these people shouldn't be living there and I should be the one to dictate that."
-
Also the areas of high post-fire debris flow risk. Not the best place to build.

Fire has an amazing way of sterilizing everything it touches including paint, household cleaners, bleach, gasoline, oil, etc.
Virtually every house in PP has been demolished and rebuilt 2-3 times over the last 100 years.
Tell us again about the "toxic nightmare".
