Even if that were accurate, what is your point? That the "right" is standing up for Negro Bill Canyon, Redman Slough, and Coon Creek because 1847 names are sacred? It makes no sense. I'm not offended by it, personally, but a lot of people are. Mostly the minority folk who are labeled with racial slurs who see those slurs on geographic markers.

Never heard a black man called a coon but where I live coon is a racoon. Again, you rats keep telling everyone that coon is in reference to a black man. Do you and your family use that word to describe black people, because no one I know does. For some reason it makes rats feel good about themselves to keep referring to things like this rather than just stopping the racial division tactics and letting the reference die out.
