Meh. I've spent plenty of time, mental energy and money on the Huskies in the past 2 years let alone my life. I'm not going to stare at the TV in anger when the weather is actually nice in the winter for the Sun Bowl.

You miss the point completely. Nobody's bragging about not watching a Huskie game. Some of us have spent our entire lives paying WAY too much attention to this shit only to see it completely ruined. It's been a forced walk on the beach for perspective. I could tell my wife that I'm not going to watch the Huskies play in a shit bowl game—something that would have been unthinkable only a few years ago—because their shit tier team is largely a system of college football as a whole going in the shitter, and she'd say, "That's great" without even looking up.

I can say basically that to other past/present Husky fans on a forum where I think a similar sentiment is becoming more and more popular. This is THE place for talking all things Husky football. If this isn't the place to say, "This sucks and I don't want to watch it anymore," what is? You might disagree with that sentiment, and that's fine, but expressing disappointment in the current product is a valid position that you're dismissing.
I could say I think it's cringe and cucky that you keep loving your team and coming back to watch it get fucked no matter how many times it tells you it's just not that into you. It would be a similar oversimplification of your position, but I could say that.
