A game I’m told would be better to lose to get the 5 seed?
Even the thought of that being a game to lose shows how fucked up this whole thing is.
I’m also noting that the SEC, who pushed harder than anyone for 12 teams in because they have to play TUFF games at Arkansas and Mississippi State, are still complaining about everything.

How do B1G tiebreakers work?
If Buck beats IU and Duck loses to UW (silly hypothetical), that's a 4-way tie.
UO>Buck
Buck>IU
Buck>PSU
IU, PSU > air
I assume that's it?
What happens if IU beats Buck but loses to Purdue? Common opponents with PSU?
I think in a 4-way tie where all 4 didn’t play each other it goes to conf SOS. So will depend on how teams like Illinois Iowa etc finish up
It would be fun to get OSU again just to have the opportunity to do to them what UW did to us? last year. It would be nice to see what being on that side of things feels like. However, I would love to see Indiana just out of curiosity. I'm also still pissed about losing to them at home in 2004. We outgained them 495-198 and had our last of 7 turnovers by running the same play I think a third time in a row. It was the worst coaching job I can remember.
But it's no joke that the 5th seed is the place to be. Your first playoff game is at home against the 12th seed. That opponent would either be Boise State, Army, or a two loss ACC/Big 12 champ (BYU, Colorado, SMU, Miami). You then get a 2nd round game against the same kind of team again. The 1 seed gets the bye but probably plays Notre Dame, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia or Ole Miss in round 2. It's dumb as a fuck.
Even the Refuge breaks news before it happens. B1G just realized
Derreickk should start charging double
doesn’t inspire confidence the conference couldn’t figure this out until some online Oregon fan sent them a report of all the sims/scenarios and they said “oh shit, he’s right!”
Current favorite playoff meme.
Rest the starters and get ready for the big game.
Maybe 18 team conferences aren't a great idea?
Penn State could be a tough out. I might be reading too much into the UW game. UW might have been full retard that night the way they were against Iowa, perhaps making both teams look better than they are. IDK.
And I'm sure this is bias on my part, but I will be believe Indiana after seeing them go against Buck.
The ever innovative Dan Lanning should forfeit the Washington game
the beginning end of the conference championship games? When enough teams make these kind of moves and the ratings drop accordingly, cfb will get it.
tOSU down to their 3rd string LT(they moved their starting LG over to replace the backup) and now their starting C is done for the year with an Achilles tear it sounds like.
IDK where that game against Michigan is being played but if it’s in Ann Arbor, stranger things have happened.
It’s at the shoe
But still that’s a big blow for them
