A season which ends with a NY6 level bowl is speshul to me which will make sense going forward given that's a lot like the level of making it to the playoff. 2022 was speshul for me.

2022 was not only special but in a lot of ways more fun than 2023. We got fucked on everything which is why we ended up in the Alamo, and the football Gods even saw fit that we should still get matched up with a major program, and not fucking Iowa State.
I was just thinking about how the 2022 win over Oregon was a much more enjoyable one, by far, than the other two.
In 2022 both teams were just going at each other coked out with knives, while in 2023 both teams were managed in a way that felt way more scared and just…trying not to lose.
