My point was they’re not good enough to get over the hump, again. Smash the bad teams, lose to the good ones. Season on repeat and I’m getting bored and or disappointed waiting for it to all come together.
I think second half had to do with the pick 6 and Addison getting into their heads for 5 minutes. It also had to do with Ferguson, who I’m sure was concussed.
Line play both on O and D aren't good enough to win a National Championship. I don't know that I would say this is the same problem this year and every year but it's definitely a problem this year. If we were still playing in the old PAC12 we would have won it.
Correct. Not necessarily the same issue every year. But this year it’s the lines. Oline affects the running game which is not overly impressive nor are the runners, really.
Pretty favorable schedule, you never know. Ohio State hasn’t impressed me that much. If the Ducks lose it’s because they beat themselves or the front 7 of the opponents defense dominates the game.
They aren’t championship caliber so we’ll go through the motions again. The vast majority of programs would kill to switch places but it would be nice to get over the hump again someday.

besides Buck, who beats Duck? I’m not seeing loss #2 on the schedule.
Someone else, as always.
Same season, every season.

At Michigan, at Wisconsin. Even Illinois in Eugene could give us trouble if Ducks fail to get into a rhythm offensively (see 2nd half vs UCLA).
If I'm picking a game we lose that isn't Buck or Michigan, it's Wisconsin.

Nothing else matters?

I’m a Seaver fan but the next September he doesn’t piss his pants will be the first
It’s not like I said 9-3…

Again?
Yes, win a conference and have a legit shot at the natty.
What is that has you perplexed?
I was told here that Washington's epic 14 game run to lose the natty was a worthless season
Maybe Bob was mistaken
I did use to think that Oregon's two title games were two great seasons. But I saw the light
none of that is true
It's all true Mike
I never lie
Man, @haie must be on some serious hiatus.
