Has Lawfare ever misfired so immediately?
Dems rarely even bring up the court verdicts anymore because it’s so troubling to independents.

No evidence of any individual or corporation damaged by fraud. The statute has only been used in consumer fraud cases where there were New York citizens defrauded. If leftards were capable of embarrassment they could start with this lawfare. Just like Delaware went after Elon, if you were wealthy you would avoid the ability to be sued in either state. Elon left Cali and moved his state of incorporation and business to Texas.
People v. Ernst & Young, LLP, 114 A.D.3d 569, 980 N.Y.S.2d 456, 457 (2014) (finding the disgorgement remedy available to the Attorney General under section 63(12) even without direct losses to New York consumers or the public).

"Thus, disgorgement aims to deter wrongdoing by preventing the wrongdoer from retaining ill-gotten gains from fraudulent conduct."
The lenders didn't rely on Trump's financials. Tough to have ill-gotten gains if you didn't use the financials. Thus no ill-gotten gain to disgorge. Poor JP Morgan, did there own due diligence and loaned Trump money he repaid with the negotiated interest. JP Morgan, $3.9 trillion in assets and $328 billion in equity. Geezus you suck at this.
You already tried this one before, you insufferable chode. There are zero harmed parties in the Trump case. Lacks standing.
Why do you pretend to be an attorney?
