You can't seem to grasp that I don't have the answers. I'll never pretend that I have the answers to anything. That's just how I am. But I do understand when solutions are needed, and I will shit on anyone who waves the need for solutions off. Nope. I just want my government to be a force for good for everyone in the most sensible way possible. And the effort is enough. Obviously its not that simple and it doesn't work out that way sometimes, but America overall should be a force for good, not despair, hatred, corruption, and evil. Change is very slow. We have to work at it. Call me an idealist, idgaf.
Those dead kids and all the other gun death victims are not exercising their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness right now. But muh 2nd Amendment!
Compromise for the greater good is needed.

Who said you would have to pay? I'd say it should be free. I could even see the government paying gun owners to get licensed and their previously owned guns registered.
