Big Ern is wholly against fundamentalist Islam, especially how it's infiltrated governments, but he's also against people from Muslim countries being automatically labeled as fundamentalist/Jihadist. That's a racist and shitty assumption/label. The right and the Tug engages in this shit often. It's not unlike Mexicans being labeled as murderers and rapists, or immigrants being labeled as illegal aliens.
Big Ern is from a Christian country, supposedly, but he ain't Christian. If I went to Afghanistan and someone made that assumption I would say "Whoa whoa whoa, that ain't me, bro. I don't do religion. I'm just here to smoke some Ope and go hiking."
