It's interesting how people that have become irrelevant try to become relevant again by speaking out on one side or another of some current issue. Kind of sad really.

It's interesting how if someone expresses their belief on an issue that is different from your own then it must mean he is not being genuine and is trying to make himself "relevant" somehow.

You're right. It could be his genuine belief. In which case, the KKK agrees with him.

Actually, he is the one trying to shut up the opposition by claiming it is some liberal conspiracy... as if being liberal is some crime and you'd have to be stupid to agree with them.

He is too stupid to understand it isn't just liberals that realize the name is racist, and some of the most well known advocates for changing the name, are conservatives.

Either this, or he is just using this as a stunt to try and be relevant again. But somebody else here is convinced that can't the case...

We label almost every political issue as liberal or conservative despite understanding that there's always a few liberals supporting primarily conservative causes and a few conservatives supporting primarily liberal causes. Obviously, you think this is wrong, and you don't want that dirty liberal label attached to your upright cause.

Simultaneously, you have no problem labeling someone who opposes your cause a racist, because you know, no one could see things differently without being racist.

    Great consistency, as always.

BTW, I guess this means 79% of Americans are racist.
Now that I'm a Progressive, it's clear to me that Amerika is by it's definition and founding a racist country. You cannot oppress us forever, White Amerika. Revolution is coming.

"Apocalypse" has Judeo-Christian undertones which are not inclusive to our anarcho-pagan, Buddhist, and Wiccan brothers.

It isn't a liberal vs conservative issue. Racism is racism.

When state legislatures, city councils, and major television networks recognize the term as racist, it's time to give up the idea that is it just "warm and fuzzy tradition that we need to keep for senile grandpa's sake".

It's so racist and offensive that the Redskins are the 3rd most valuable team in the league. It's the owner's business what to call his team, unless the NFL front office wants to step in. Case closed.

No one ever says shit about the FSU Seminoles either. Do people think that the Seminoles are a bunch of savages that wear face paint and chop shit with tomahawks?

    Oh, wait, never mind.

Which is why they are resisting any change to the perception of their "brand".

For the owners... this isn't about tradition... it's about money.

And yet you took the time to respond. If you have a clear point, make it.
