TYFYS, I remember watching this back on the Viacom box remote. I haven't had a similar feeling about a Husky recruit since outside of maybe Shaq Thompson.
watched him shred the Broncos in 1997 when I was down in SF for a weekend. We took BART out to Okland for the game and managed to not get stabbed in the parking lot.
@DerekJohnson might know this for sure but I think the players who were seniors in 94 were given the opportunity to transfer because of the probation penalties and none of them did.
i think in Kaufman's case it was considered a no brainer he would declare for the NFL and then shocked the world by becoming the first 10-star recruit in Washington history.

easily one of my favorite Dawgs of all time.

his friends called him Nap
I wonder how much he earned with his nil deal.

I’ve been to Raiders games in Oakland. The whole “I didn’t get stabbed in the parking lot” thing is dumb. Nicest group of fans I’ve ever met.
The odds of getting stabbed are the same as me playing in the NBA. Getting shanked on the other hand…
The strictly Business Kaufman letterman jacket goes hard.
I like the USC plug at the end, what a monster of a recruit for Don James.
Those who know me IRL know I have a Kaufman memorabilia shrine, probably have the majority of his card catalog.
As a kid he was God.
If the portal was around in his day I wonder if he would have played for Oregon in 94.
Nicest ever? Me and the Nebraska fanbase shared a hearty laugh in the media room
Nebraska fans are classiest. Sounds like some of you need to learn the difference between nicest and classiest.

That sounds accurate
My comment was in jest. The TG scene at Oakland Alameda was more wanna-be biker/Halloween than anything else.
Our well-being was never in peril until the BART ride back but that didn’t have anything to do with the game.
whoosh
Bite your tongue
Nip-Nap wouldn't have portaled to Oregon prior to the 94 season. Football hadn't yet been invented in Eugene.
i vaguely remember a photo of Lambright smiling with Nip at a podium on the cover of the Seattle times after the announcement.
