ESPN gargling some USC sack...

...talking about how USC is one of the teams that will make the 16-team playoff system, under the leadership of Sark.

How many games into the season will ESPN realize the error of their ways?

    The over/under is 5.

1.5 after a close game with San Jose St. And David Shaw is elbow deep with the plunger by halftime in Palo Alto.

David Shaw is overrated and Stanford wins that game in a slug fest only because they're at home.

Explain how he is overrated please. I look forward to tearing your argument to pieces.

We're going to find out this year whether Shaw is overrated or not. He just lost a bunch of guys. Can he still produce results? Stay tuned...

All Shaw has done is win the conference two years running while exposing Oregon's lack of toughness. Absolutely terrible.

ESPN loves the story that USC is "home" to Sark because Sark played one term as an average baseball player there (one term - not a whole fucking season even) and then was hired back as an assistant under Pete Carroll. Clearly USC = Sark = USC. It's probably on Wikipedia as a symbiotic relationship. Fucking hell.

Shaw (or his coaching staff) coached like a bunch of fucktards in the Rose Bowl.

Shaw is a below average game manager IMO. Overall very quality coach but he costs them wins with his often stubborn and suspicious game day coaching.

Shaw's been a great coach overall in my opinion with the exception that he makes one baffling decision in highly pressured games that become his signature.

Shaw is a very good coach. Stanford prides themselves on being bigger, smarter, and tougher. He does sometimes make questionable decisions in high pressure situations. He even did against UW when he tried the bootleg on third and one when Peters snuffed that shit out. Their conservative play calling works against them once or twice a year as well.
