One of the best parts of the new world of college football is when players openly talk about having conversations implicating them for tampering. And nothing happens. Fun times.

Just wait until they realize they can hire Sexton 2.0 and do the same everybody gets a massive pay raise merry-go-fuckyourself the coaches just did.

That's why NIL deals should run at least 2 years. This year to year stuff is stupid if they aren't a senior.

It was funny when they would (constantly) talk about Bo Nix' adopted brother and said Nix saw he was in the portal and was like coaches you gotta recruit this guy. Come on, how do you report that with a straight face?
Isn't everyone accused of tampering at this point? Who cares. Wasn't there some now dead Doog narrative that the NCAA was gonna start retroactively punishing schools that were doing NIL the "wrong way?" Which I think was anything that wasn't actually a payment for an actual endorsement/use of name/image/likeness?
It's a fight that's coming and not going to be a slam dunk because there's several camps that benefit from the Wild West situation we have now. The small handful of schools that can and will throw giant bags at players, star players who can command money, and all the players that want to sign at those massive bag schools won't want that.
I would also expect these camps to first fight back with the narrative that there's no salary cap for coaches so there shouldn't be for players.
Lots more starters in CFB like KamFab making nothing that will vote yes for a share of the pie than millionaire QBs taking the lions share. If it happens it will need to be endorsed by the SEC and the B1G. If they do eventually want to break away from the NCAA a CBA with their workforce and rules of engagement that everyone follows is a must IMHO.

I wonder what is going on with this considering the NCAA is getting TUFF on Tennessee (and has already hit Florida State).
NCAA, tampering, NIL ... Nothingburger. Oregon will be fine

Who knows. With Dartmouth B-ball players unionizing, maybe football players will too and then bring some sanity to NIL via a salary cap.

Still needs to go to the national board.
Remember when Northwestern football players were allowed to unionize years ago? Look at where they are now

Fuck @VanillaSupport, get your shit together or put Sven in charge.
the only teeth the NCAA has is a playoff ban. Scholarship reductions are pointless, because you can just NIL the kid without offering a scholarship.
