My GF and I have been living separately for going on 3 years now. Prior to that we lived together for 6. The final year of that, after my son moved, we had separate rooms. I had a new bed and TV within days of him moving out.

We both slept better. I got to leave the TV on and was happy. She got to thrash around like a possessed woman and somehow take up an entire king size bed at 5'1". Also she got to sleep with her cat who I tended to send flying every night. They're both happier like this.

Had more and better sex too. I usually made sure it was in her room so that I could leave after. That'll be the plan again if she moves back in, which I think is cumming right around the corner.

I really like the line about leaving after sex. So you can still make them feel like a slut while you feel like you just big dicked em

I have issues. Well documented issues.
Is that like a well documented fumbling problem ?

The wife and I sync-up pretty well and I don't sleep worth a damn by myself. We've had kids and dogs who wheeze and snore and the secret was breathing in rhythm with the noise. Sometimes my wife's mouthguard causes a slight windy noise, but once I'm in time with it, I'm asleep in minutes or seconds. I think it's a security/control thing. I can't sleep well with earplugs because I can't hear outside noises in this crime-ridden city. If I know I'm likely to hear shit outside, I sleep like a baby. Freud with have a field day with my sleep behaviors.

You should move to Bend Mayberry @TurdBomber . I use ear plugs every other night and don't stress crime whatsoever.

I don't even keep the guns loaded anymore.

    Lol.

I pay good money to live in Mayberry and not stress about that shit.

Life's too short to be constantly worried about home invasions.

I'm just not a Bend guy. Spent a lot of time there, but I prefer Missoula or Kalispell/Whitefish these days.

I like a place during the buildup, not so much the 2nd or 3rd decade after it's built out.

Ironic I know since I live in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Seattle, but Reed Market Road used to be my favorite cross town route until about 10 years ago, when it became way too congested to tolerate at rush hour.

You're in a really good spot for Bend, no doubt.

I know 3 former homeowners who lived on your street.

    Small world.

No one here loves Missoula more than Yella, but there growth has been nuts as well. Plenty of Cali-bros there now.

Missoula trumps Bend for fishing and its no close. Bend has better weather and skiing and better airport situation if you need to fly around the country. There's a reason so many folks have opted for here.

I haven't been to Kalispell in almost 30 years but love that spot. But too remote for our situation.

Back to my point about home invasion stress and keeping the guns loaded and ready to go, I'm not well versed on Missoula or Kalispell stats, but I suspect these are very low crime areas.

Kalispell is full of ex-gov't and ex-military retirees, so I expect to be shot if I FAFO in that area. Zula's got lots of anti-gun libtards from the University, but the weather, the football fanbase, and the surrounding big-boy hills & mountains do a pretty good job of keeping that in check.

The new areas West of town are very similar to the Summit HS neighborhoods, albeit on former pasture land, not hills, and quite a bit cheaper. Whatever that something "Crossing" area is in West Bend is duplicated in West Missoula, but the houses are smaller, cheaper and packed in tighter.

I don't like what the future is probably bringing to Missoula, but I always stay near the University, so it's a freeway exit or two away at all times.

There's really nothing anyone can do about it. Property rights are sacrosanct and desirable land will get developed to meet demand.

The only way to avoid the flaws of Bend or Missoula is to go super BFE in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, etc, at that's just not doable for most remote worker bees these days.

My man Elon is taking care of that.

Starlink just announced a mini mobile unit that fits in a backpack.

2BR Condo I can AirBNB and I'm happy. Sandpoint's looking pretty good these days, too. Maybe Sleddy and I can shoot some shit if I'm up there.

    Airports, my man.

    Elon doesn’t solve for that.
