A Country Pod Can Survive - Hank Williams JrI've been torn on this, but think I gotta go with A Country Boy Can Survive.
If I ever get killed by a @RaceBannon Antifa bro in Downtown Portland, I'd hope that SEC would spit some Beechnut in that dude's eye and shoot him down with his Ol' .45.
Also for as much shit as @SECDAWG likes to give me for being some Left Coast Yankee, never forget that I too have a rifle, a shot gun and better 4wd than you, Pod! -
Long Haired Cuntry Boi - Charlie Daniels BandMy choice was actually relevant as a long haired country boy down south in Olympia
Southern Man lol
Don't think they want old Neil anyway -
A Country Pod Can Survive - Hank Williams JrEither Hank or Charlie works for our favorite pod from Mississippi.
-
Not sure but the Pac2's theme song is chindisputable

Synkyrd is on the list. Charlie Daniels was a cross over star with a Southern Rock flavor.alumni94 said:No southern rock? Allman bros, marshal tucker, black crows, Derek trucks?
Allman Brothers, Marshal Tucker, Black Crowes are not nearly red neck enough for this pole. These are Southern Rock jam bands. Maybe we could say "Hillbilly Band" by Marshal Tucker Band is honorable mention. Can't think of any Allman Bros that works here.
John Fogerty had a way better grasp on Louisiana and Mississippi culture. -
Mississippi Kid - Skynyrd
Didn’t the boy he sang about in this song turn out to be a girl? Crazy kids.dnc said:Not sure but the Pac2's theme song is chindisputable

@YellowSnow reached in and had a good one there with HJr. About says it all…but there are more. Long Haired Country Boi is another. Most of us sport mullets, beards, etc…This one here ^^^^…ain’t one. That’s more north of here, TN, KY, mountain hills “hillbillies”(reason they’re called hillbillies). Too much twang, blue grass, banjo, fiddles, etc.LebamDawg said:A little bit more southern leaning hillbilly to me

More Redneck here, like “Country Boi Can Survive”.. that’s more Redneck, MS, Bama, AR, north of Baton Rouge, parts of GA, FL panhandle, etc…
South of BR is more Cajun country. North of MS in the mountains get more into hillbilly, blue grass stuff.

Hence why Dixieland Delight don’t quite work. Too much TN. Ain’t no hollers in Mississippi, pods.SECDAWG said:

A lot of local stuff here that’s real good, matta fact, daughter and a bunch of pods of hers are at Brewsky’s tonight listening to local bands. Always good southern local bands playing around here, every weekend. I love music but not really a crowd pod. So I refrain from that shit. Rather be in my element.
But hillbilly and Cajun music ain’t redneck music. About three different groups of pods in the souf.

Would have been a different deal with unlimited resources, bar none. MS river and gubment killed it all. May be a different world today, for better or worse. Shit all worked out but pretty shitty in most big towns today.

A lot of story and badassery behind that unit.

There’s so much fucking diversity throughout the south. Everyone in the B1G and Pac12 think it’s all the same throughout the SEC SEC SEC.SECDAWG said:

A Country Pod Can Survive - Hank Williams JrAbsolutely. Culturally, a lot of differences between South, South LA, MS/Bama, mountains, and FL man.

Mt Yota Turd PRO sequoia can go all kinds of places that mud bogger can’t!
Love that rig though and 80s step sides in general. My Daddy used to be a Chevy dealer back in the 80s. -
A Country Pod Can Survive - Hank Williams JrI have two Yota ass toters. 31” and 33” mud pullers on em.
Ain’t even in the same stratosphere as that unit. Nein, pod. Won a few Mudbog Championships with that unit. I will post the qualities later. Heavy duty and badassery. Think TimberJack under a truck. -
F.O. Row Peter Puffer, you left offFlirting’ with Disaster by Molly Hatchet was going to be my vote, but it wasn’t there. Massive oversight.

Great song but that's more like NASCAR video game music. We're talking about hunting deer and trot lines and what not.USMChawk said:Flirting’ with Disaster by Molly Hatchet was going to be my vote, but it wasn’t there. Massive oversight.

I thought you were going for his personal theme song. I don’t know enough about holler music to comment. May have to watch Justified again and get some inspiration.YellowSnow said:

I bought this last March. Took me a year of looking to find it for MSRP. All dealerships on the west coast had massive market adjustments on their inventory ($10k or more). Ultimately flew to Iowa to pick it up, I got the Sasquatch package (off road ) because I ski but, if I ever actually take it off road, it means I’ve taken a wrong turn.SECDAWG said:

My town is overrun with these these things @USMChawk . They look pretty capable off road off the showroom floor, but I'm wondering how they will do in snow. Snow (studded or studless) tires are a must in Oregon since they don't salt the roads. Seems like there are some options for 35inch tires.USMChawk said:
