Losing takes off the pressure

Maybe they’ve been humbled and want to regroup but they’re sick and unable to fully do so.
DeBoer was saying the crud/injuries were fucking with their personnel groupings on Tuesday and Wednesday so their preparation and rhythm was behind.
If that’s over, perhaps so are the bizarro dawgs🤔 -
Yes, this team doesn't have the trench power, depth, or talent at RB to be one of those teams.WoolleyDoog said:
It’s especially hard when you’re a team which isn’t a 12-0 level team. Teams like 91 UW, 2019 LSU or Georgia last year it’s different. Feels like a team that’s just waiting to walk into a rude awakening and it all depends on how they respond.Kingdome_Urinals said:
I think for a good team losing allows them to regroup, gets everybody on the same page. Whereas winning leads to complacency. Oregon is playing well because they are playing loose.greenblood said:This makes sense. UW is playing as if they have a margin of error, and Oregon is playing like every week is a playoff game. If UW is going to lose, they need to lose soon, because this sleepwalking shit can be systemic if it goes on too long.
Nix doesn't have to think a heisman campaign, the team doesn't have to worry about whether or not they look dominant.
It's easier to be dominant when you don't have to be.
It all depends on Penix and the passing game. But I think he's the best pure passer in the game so there is still a high ceiling. -
Good clear-headed post the day after. All that makes sense.
On another topic, we learned very quickly not to wear shorts to a Mariners games back in the Kingdome days. -
Penix isn’t right. He’s probably dealing with something minor and will get right. That’s the problem with an offense that requires rhythm.Kingdome_Urinals said:Which is part of why UW looks like crap right now. They are undefeated and playing bad teams after receiving sustained, national media bj's for several weeks.
Looks like they are sleep-walking, expecting to dominate but not putting in the effort or focus to do that. Then making multitudes of shoot-yourself-in-the-foot turnovers and finding every way to NOT control the game.
They've won 15 games in a row and after Oregon are bored as fuck. They have an identity crisis, bored but also under pressure.
They also have a few glaring structural issues. The OL is not that great. The DL is not very good and the edges can't sack the QB or tackle.
Bottom line, this team is entirely dependent on Penix completing 70% of his passes, hitting a variety of long-distance NFL throws, and being very accurate.
They can't run against or defend a decent team unless Penix and the WR's are cooking. Period. -

Utah is really bad.greenblood said:This makes sense. UW is playing as if they have a margin of error, and Oregon is playing like every week is a playoff game. If UW is going to lose, they need to lose soon, because this sleepwalking shit can be systemic if it goes on too long.

Oregon was underrated and playing with a chip on their shoulder. Now they're the most complete team in the country and my @Sources are telling me that the fart huffing has commenced.RaceBannon said:Oregon had lots of eyes see them boat race the WAC portion of the conference Utah and Colorado
Let them get the praise. I'll take the W
The world will be watching the last Pac 12 battle between Washington and USC. The cream of the crop will be on display
Meanwhile we are widely seen as the all-hype team that has played like shit for two weeks. Barely escaped the dreck of the conference.
This is the narrative best case scenario. -
They're really not. I'd give my left nut to walk into Ecclesiastes and give them a 35-6 pantsing.haie said:

Jake Browning beat a better Utah there in 2018.GreenRiverGatorz said:

This year's sqwad isn't even a south division winning type of team. No stars. Slow footed defense. Shit offense.
