Beating Oregon when they have a pulse is a nice step in the right direction.
Winning the conference is another baby step.
PGOS needs to see a NY6 or playoff win, bare minimum.
This is the staff and roster to do it.
Mostly agree, but Yella terms are either win the conference (which should yield a play off bid) or win a NY6. I can't make a blanket statement about a potential CFP loss yet.

Im over my CFP loss phase
I was there. I'm probably out of that phase. But I can't 100% say the season is failure w/o seeing what that game would look like.
If it's a NY6 (non playoff game) then we sure as fuck better win.

Take the 2016 team as is and add Deboer and Grubb. Do we win it all? Great Defense, lots of weapons on offense and a coach with balls of steel? I still think Bama pulls it out but the game is much closer

100%
Remember what these same players looked like under Lake? Coaching apparently matters
Browning wasn't Penix but The Boar would have squeezed every point out of his (NFL backup) noodle arm

Need to see bTrice live up to his preseason all American billing or we're fucked.
He balled on Saturday, go rewatch it. Conerly had 0 shot against his bull rush on every stop we made Bralen got pressure on Nix. I think his lack of “production” is moreso because of ZTF not being able to win 1 on 1s. Last year with Jeremiah he was left alone without chips/RBs going over etc. much more.
