tea party, neocon, and libertarian spin in 3...2...1...
Lol I can tell the amount of libertarians bothers you quite a bit. Really funny and kind of sad actually.
It is disturbing. It's a knee jerk reaction to corrupt parties, a broken system, the military-industrial spending machine, the debt, paranoia about the government etc. That's what's sad. I like you CW, so I'll just suggest that you dig deeper as to who funds them.
No one funds my personal opinions regarding small government and individual freedoms. Fuck off. Class A idiot if that was a serious post.
Purp, it's ok to believe again. I've come to realize my suspicion & cynicism of the government is from a different era. Now that things have changed, I can finally hope. We have good people looking out for our best interests. Proud time to be an American.

You're right. The government watches over us and protects us. I feel safer knowing they are looking down on me, like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.

Fresh out of the Bush years, pledging allegiance to Obama seemed insane. But that wasn't his fault. Six years later, maybe that pledge isn't so crazy after all.
I find that offensive. For one, it's called the Affordable Care Act. Two, it takes a lot of guts to step into government as a public servant. After all, they're acting in our best interests, even when some incessantly ridicule them. The President deserves our respect. Third, that vehicle can't possibly have had an Obama sticker on it. As you'll recall, the Car Allowance Rebate System (colloquially known as Cash for Clunkers) took fuel inefficient trucks like that off the road. An obvious photoshop, and a poor one at that.
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
