Turning Point Action announced the results of its 2023 Turning Point Action Conference straw poll, commissioned by the Trafalgar Group, on Sunday.
The poll results show former President Donald Trump with an overwhelming lead for the 2024 GOP primary, at 86%. He leads the second-place finisher, businessman Perry Johnson, who finished at 8%, by 78 points.
In third comes Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, at 4%, followed by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who polls at 2% in the survey.

What took you so long to report on what the Trump/TPUSA crowd had to say?
He dodged Tucker because he's no Kaitlen Collins.

This is the problem with Trump supporters. You think that because you have undying love and affection for Trump, no GOP voters should get to see him handle the same types of questions that other GOP candidates did. He doesn't deserve that type of pass, he lost his last election as the incumbent.
Not all of Fox is bad," Trump said in the speech that aired live and in its entirety on Newsmax. "I tell you, it's just there is an attitude
"It's attitudinal. Get [President Joe] Biden to say that, OK?"
According to Trump, mainstream media forces are working against him, including the anti-Trump leadership at Fox News.
"But there's so many others, many different outlets," Trump continued. "Now they're seeing it and even people that weren't necessarily with us. They see that we were right — that our country's going to hell in a handbasket, and they want to have a country.
"They want to have a great country."
Trump hailed his polling numbers, and even noticed the TPUSA conference's boos for Fox News.
We have been like a rocket ship," Trump said. "It's been very nice to watch.
"I heard you weren't too happy with this particular network, Fox," he added. "I was watching. That, I was watching. I understand you exactly."
Poor Trumpy.
Is that why he wouldn't sit down with Tucker like the other GOP candidates? Seems like he would have relished the opportunity.
You guys act like the media hit job would stop if they ran anyone else.
Liberals have won the war of information, education, and corporate policy.
It's over, only hope would be election reform which will never happen. The Supreme court is the last defense and I'm sure they'll justify expansion at some point.
I actually like Desantis. The media hit job is so severe and non-stop the poor guy does not stand a chance. They even attack his wife who by all accounts is a great person. She is even a cancer survivor and that fact doesn't stop the media that is so filled with hatred for anyone different than them.
This is not as brutal as the beatdown they gave the woman from Alaska who is 100X smarter than the idiot they have in the VP seat at the moment, but the slaughter is starting way early. The left is petrified of the Desantis family. All American, gorgeous and intelligent wife who is a cancer survivor, doting parents, Desantis a veteran. The left has to kill him often and early. They represent everything rats hate, and like I said, it scares them to death.
The corrupt media fears RDS because they've seen he actually gets things done policy wise that they do not like.
They want Trump.
The hate factor voted for Joey.
Some here just refuse to believe that's what happened.

The the litmus test for Trump supporters.
VR has one job.
Do NOT piss Trump off.

Great governor should have stayed in his lane
His campaign imploded in 2 weeks. No one likes him
Everyone knows where Trump stands
DeSantis is doing focus groups with the Bushies
Everyone knows Trump. That's why he's crushing DeSantis
Your guy fucking lost.

That's why none of you wanted to talk about it.
It's not a coronation.
