Just call it the AFC and NFC and be done with it. Tie each of the 32 schools allowed in to an NFL franchise and make that school the farm system. Now NFL dollars get added into recruiting for NIL. Probably would make the pro game better in the long run, anyways.

The thing is that the usual suspects who have been saving football since Roy Cramer started the SEC Championship game are already on the next "improvements". And whining about the results of all their previous improvements
