Can we offer this Ukranian solider a scholarship?

I don't disagree. So make the dem senators vote on it rather than let the dementia patient and Chucky Schumer abandon our border.

They aren't conscripting 18-25 year olds at all. Minimum age was just dropped from 27 to 25 to fill the ranks. They aren't sending boys off to war like fantasizers often claim.
EDIT: I misread, mb. Yes.

No I just don't care that much for a demonrat created dictatorship run by a despot that launders our tax dollars to themselves and demonrats and RINOs to damage our own country. Allow 40 some odd biolabs in Mexico and we'll attack them. If the people of Ukraine won't do anything to free themselves of the dictator I sure as hell don't want to!

Ukraine has lost over 20% of its territory and a major breadbasket of their (and the world's) economy, the Donbas. A freeze is just a way for Russia to reconstitute for further aggression, reap spoils, and continue their culturcide/ethnocide against Ukrainians in Ukrainian territory. I doubt it happens. Putin has passed the point of no return on this one, and Ukraine won't submit. This doesn't end until Russia implodes internally or European nations/NATO provide deterrence beyond what we're currently seeing. No new boundaries are going to be made anytime soon and the fight needs to be maintained until Russian internal combustion, realistically. That's the best case scenario, and I hope it ends with Ukraine getting back what's theirs.

What do you think the odds are of your best case scenario coming true without serious escalation of the US's involvement?

Ukraine has proven that they know how to defend their land.
20% of that territory, 19% of which was taken initially when the Ukrainians were still denying that Russia was doing anything beyond training exercises.
Since fall 2022, Ukraine has taken back far more territory than it has lost (All of Kherson and most of Kharkiv oblasts).
I don't think any level of rebuilding their armed forces is going to get Russia any closer to taking over Ukraine. They are woeful at combined arms and they can't fly their planes near the border without risking them getting shot down.
All they can do is literally inch along while blasting shit with inaccurate artillery fire and flamethrower TOS systems.

Also, what's with the character limits when quoting posts?

I blame Zelensky

I had a whole post written and then my dad called and it disappeared. Cliff notes, guaranteed commitments and lifting of restrictions by NATO and EU nations will allow for Ukraine and supporting countries to budget, plan, lessening the contribution from each individual country and increasing the contribution and efficiency of the the whole. Do it not and we're sitting in this quagmire for ages bleeding money and playing whack a mole. Putin is no joke, he's past the point of diplomacy. This is a global burden now. Sucks that we have to deal with it but we have to deal with it. Whether it be by holding ground until Russia internally implodes, or by military defeat, I don't have the answers. I just know that an armistice/frozen conflict is a pipe dream. Ain't gonna happen.

I asked PGOS this several times and he just said it wouldn't happen. So, you are for eternal war with the US playing Team America. Putin will not accept defeat. He will go tactical nukes and the Euros and the American public have no desire for World War III. We threaten retaliation and Putin says he will nuke New York City if we retaliate. If the Euros think protecting Europe is worth it, then let them do it. If they don't, then they can pay the consequences. On the world stage Russia is a nuisance for us, the big problem is the chicoms and neither the dems or the neocons are serious about dealing with China.
